Cross Cut rabbit is cut so the fur lays perpendicular to the hide. When the strip is tied in and wound forward the fur will naturally flow towards the tail of the fly. While Cross Cut rabbit makes very nice bodies, Straight Cut is a better choice for tails. Strips are 1/8" wide and there are four 12" strips per package.
